Free workshops, valuable knowledge

This year, the 18th edition of the Cape Town International Jazz Festival hosted amazing free workshops designed to upskill young entrepreneurs, musicians and learners regarding music, fashion and life in general.

The workshops which are free to the public and only require you to RSVP online to secure your seat are a wow! Imagine having panellists like Shado Twala share their secrets with you and for free? Imagine being taken into the world of music by actual musicians who get paid to do what they love for free? Imagine learning about the latest fashion trends for free? This is literally what happened during the last week of March for the workshops.

This year, the workshops were presented at the beautiful Cape Sun Hotel and the different workshops were music business, music technology, master classes and my favourite, the fashion workshop.
